- Bokeh
- Bokeh {boke-uhh} is the term for how a lens renders the out of focus areas of an image with a narrow depth of field. There is no scientific measure for bokeh, like composition it is purely subjective. Out of focus highlights in the background of an image are rendered as circles, hard edged circles or circles with a brighter outside than centre are often considered to be less desirable than soft circles of light.
