Deutsche Telekom have anounced that they will phase out (close) polylooks by December 31, 2010
It looks like buying your way into the market with an upload incentive is not a guarantee of success for a starting microstock collection.

Archive Review:
Polylooks is a german based microstock agency backed by the German telecoms giant Deutsche Telekom.
On 15th Sept 09 they announced the launch of their UK arm at polylooks.co.uk combining 20,000 images from monkeybusinessimages.com and a further 15,000 images submitted in the uk, this along with their collection of more than 100,000 European images. Pricing on the UK site are in GBP and an approximate conversion of 1.6 USD to the pound has been used in this review.
Image vary in price between 1 and 15 credits (each credit costs a pound). Exclusive photographers receive an extra 15% commission, and extended licenses are available for merchandise use (priced up to 50 GPB).
A review of the German site polylooks.de can be found at microstockdiaries.
Conclusion
Unfortunately due to tax complications polylooks can only sell images for photographers resident in Germany and a handful of European countries. This leaves me unable to fully review the site at present.
